What Are My Dental Sedation Options?
Dr. Srikureja will consult with you one on one to determine which sedation dentistry method best suits your needs and is safest for your overall physical health. We will review your medical history, examine your teeth, and discuss your preferred method to determine the right solution for you prior to your procedure so that you know what to expect.
We offer conscious sedation methods in our Montclair Plaza dental office.
- Oral Conscious Sedation: is administered through a pill. Patients say needs to take the pill an hour before their appointment. Patients will need to coordinate a safe ride to and from our Montclair Plaza dental office.
- Nitrous oxide: commonly known as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is administered through a small nasal mask. Patients often report feeling relaxed and having no recollection of their treatment. The effects of the gas diminish once the mask is removed.
